ANN ARBOR – The GSWL is coming to Michigan in the Ann Arbor area!

Golden Stick is the game’s most elite league and one of the only leagues in the nation that pays its players. A $350 team fee, but the league sets you up with a sponsorship package that could get you paid. Plus, sign a contract to become a team in either the Pro OR Yard league, and the front office will provide you with custom two color jerseys with your name and number on the back, socks, shorts, and hats with custom logos on them. Each region holds a postseason championship after the 6 week regular season. Win
Ann Arbor and they will pay for your hotel and flight ticket to Vegas to play in the national championship against the other regional champs across the country.

Contact GSWL@goldenstickwiffle.com if you are interested in playing, or
visit www.goldenstickwiffle.com for more information.

Only serious Wifflers should contact the front office, this is a professional league. Entry is a first come, first serve basis.

The Machester Wiffle League has plans to challenge the best teams in Michigan to a playoff tournament.

Commissioner Evan Bortmas writes, “(We) will be challenging each of the 8 best teams in Michigan to face each other in an 8-team, best of 3-5-5, 5 on 5 wiffleball tournament. How it will work is each league will have a qualifying tournament, which at least 6 teams must enter. The winner will then be selected to go to the Michigan Wiffleball Classic. That will leave 8 of the top teams in Michigan to face each other in a battle for a cash prize, a trophy, and serious bragging rights.”

They’re planning a weekend July event in Manchester, located between Jackson and Ann Arbor. Their players are high school age, but the tournament is open to all ages. Their rules are fastpitch and baserunning, using only the official wiffle bats & balls. For more information, contact Evan at “manchesterwiffle (at) yahoo.com”
